Hey, welcome and kia ora! I’m Dunc and this is my website. I used to live in England. In fact, I was born there, in Greenwich, which is in south east London. It’s where time comes from. I now live in a place called Swanson, which is in Waitakere, west of Auckland in New Zealand.
I am a DJ and a radio presenter by trade, but I have also been in the music promotion and teaching businesses for a bit as well. My favourite things in life include making things and DIY, cooking (I am the meanest chef!), music (lots of it), photography, travel and movies. My sport would have to be mountain biking.
I have recently gotten very serious about my website. I have owned the domain for years and years, but kept changing my mind about what I wanted to do with it. I think I have now reached a decision and what you are looking at now is that decision. There is a radio section, where I will explain everything (except for the majority, which is unexplainable) and you can listen to a load of clips.
Then there is my blog, called ‘Words’. It’s a blog.
My partner and I have recently bought a new house. A house which we are determined to turn into a real wonder home. So I reckon I’ll keep you updated with that in there.
Back in Greenwich, I am involved in the setting up of a community radio station, so I reckon you can see and read about some of it’s progress there.
Don’t expect I’ll bang too many recipes out, but I may list a few ingredients and give real rough prep ideas from time to time. I might bust out a few posts about how this online stuff is treating me and what else I am up to on the internet (not like that!). Definitely expect plenty of pictures of funny signs. I like signs. If I hear some music I like, it will be written about there. I’ll probably have a moan from time to time too, but please don’t take it too seriously, it isn’t intended that way.
Enjoy my site lots, but enjoy life just a tad more,
cheers,
Dunc
